When you donate, your money directly benefits students by supporting in-class lessons, field trip supplies, tank materials, maintenance, and more. By following the link, you will can donate to your school or organization of choice, and learn more about upcoming events that will further support the Tacoma Salmon in the Classroom program! What comes with a donation?
We are deeply grateful for any amount that you may be able to donate. If you donate at a specific level or higher, certain benefits will come with your donation! These levels are:

Level 1: Chum ($25)
-Paper salmon to decorate and take home
-Invitation to the Adopt a Salmon reception
-Contribute to the community art project (later installed at Foss Waterway Seaport)

Level 2: Coho ($100)
-Small wood salmon (dimensions)
– Invitation to the Adopt a Salmon reception
-Contribute to the community art project (later installed at Foss Waterway Seaport)
-Name and release one salmon at the community release event (Salmon Send-off!)
Level 3: Chinook ($500)
-Large wood salmon (dimensions)
-Invitation to the Adopt a Salmon reception
-Special mention/logo on website and screens at Foss Waterway Seaport
-VIP tour of museum and salmon feeding before reception
-Family NARM membership for one year
-Name and release 4 salmon at Salmon Send-off




Other Ways to Help
We understand it’s not always an option to donate money to a program- fortunately, there are several volunteer opportunities to support Adopt a Salmon! These range from helping to care for school tanks (at the school district’s discretion) to volunteering at field trips.
